Jennifer Lopez is back on the set, this time to film her new NBC show, ‘Shades of Blue.’ She entertained herself between breaks shooting selfies. Clearly she’s into the selfie craze ;).

Jennifer is one chic officer; I like her outfit here! She looks like she’s genuinely having fun on set. Check out the photos of her laughing in the gallery. I suspect those were between takes, given the intense nature of the show itself.

Jennifer snapped a selfie with the cast and crew after they wrapped their first day of filming.
She’s keeping in shape, too, which makes sense since she’s playing a police officer. Jennifer inspired us all to #BeTheGirl with a quick workout video on Instagram.

One thing is for sure: No One can question Jennifer’s work ethic! I’m looking forward to checking out ‘Shades of Blue’ this fall. They’ve started shooting awfully early: most shows are on hiatus at this time of the year. Maybe that’s to make time for her to be able to do ‘American Idol’? She’ll need days off to do the auditions in the fall and the live shows in the winter, so perhaps they have to start shooting earlier to accommodate that schedule. It looks like she won’t have much of a summer break, unfortunately.
